| I usually drive my grandma’s old diesel car, but I had a date with my new |
| girlfriend, so persuaded my dad to lend me his flashy car for the night. |
| It needed petrol, so I put in half a tank and drove off. By the time I got to my |
| girlfriend’s house, the car was jerking madly and smoke was coming out of the |
| back. Her dad had to call the AA1), who told me the car would need a new |
| engine because ‘somebody’ had put diesel in rather than petrol. |
