| Doctor was on heroin A DOCTOR who became a drug addict because he could not cope with work pressures, injected himself with pure heroin at his surgery. Dr James Hogan, 46, faked prescriptions in the names of patients to get free drugs. He took heroin without his wife knowing, even though she was a doctor at the same practice in Littleport, Cambridgeshire. Hogan was sentenced to 18 months’ imprisonment. |
