Vraag 1

Hoe kunnen ouders helpen voorkomen dat hun tienerkinderen in de problemen raken volgens het onderstaande artikel?

Are your teens headed for trouble?

IF YOU’VE tried everything to keep your
teenagers out of trouble, psychologists say
there is a new, simple remedy.
Dr. Blake Bowden, of the Cincinnati
Children’s Hospital Medical Center, and Dr.
Jennie M. Zeisz, of DePaul University,
studied a group of 527 teens and assigned
them to a “well-adjusted” or a “not welladjusted”
group.
Then they recorded the number of times
per week those kids ate an evening meal
with their families at home.
The “well-adjusted” youths - the ones
least likely to do drugs, get depressed and
who were more motivated in school - had
supper with their household members an
average of five days a week.
