'Frying pans' can save your life

NON-STICK Natalie Ramsey has raised hun-
dreds for the hospital that saved her life -
using a Teflon pan!
    Five-year-old Natalie was the first person in
the world to be injected with the compound -
used in non-stick frying pans.
    It helped save her life - and now she has
joined the massive fundraising appeal at
Liverpool's Alder Hey children's hospital.
    She organised a pancake eating
competition ... with Natalie preparing them in
a Teflon pan.
    Doctors injected the youngster with Teflon
to cure a kidney disorder.
    Said her mother Janet, from Blacon,
Chester: "We wanted to do something for the
hospital. This seemed to be a good idea."
