| Some of these small-business owners claim that |
| Sunday opening would help their weekly turnover. |
| But I fail to understand why it is that lots of little |
| stores close at lunch times and for a half day mid- |
| week, at precisely the time when so many |
| potential customers have the only opportunity to |
| go to these shops. What's the point of making a |
| fuss about Sunday trading when shop owners |
| insist on sticking to such inconvenient opening |
