Vraag 3

Are holidays
worth it?

so many friends tell me how
they have booked "a fabulous
holiday", admitting they can't
really afford it, but saying they
"need it".
We all need an annual break,
of course, but booking an over-
extravagant holiday usually
means that for 50 weeks of the
year one has to make cuts,
economies and sacrifices. And
all for just a "frantic fortnight"!
    It's a classic Catch 22 situa-
tion - people run themselves
ragged all year to pay for the
too-expensive holiday they
probably wouldn't have needed
if they hadn't run themselves
ragged all year!
