ANIMAL
CRACKERS
Why, in an age of progress, must
we have the Victorian attitude
of 'kil! it and cut it up' just
to see how it works?
I arn, of course, talking about
the dreaded dissection lessens
that are carried out in science
classrooms.
Most pupils are so revolted by the
miserabie corpse in front of them
that they learn nothing anyway the
whole exercise is a waste of
time tor the pupil and a total
waste of the poer animal's life.
Dissectien only devalues life and
teaches us to see animals as
objects rather than living beings.
And I don't think we, as a race,
have the right to infliet rnisery and
suffering on other creatures.
